  • Dreamtime Oprah - owned by Dreamtime Park & shown by David Warde of Kinloch Show Stables - on Friday won Champion Led Hack & Champion Ridden Hack and then the Beryl Tait Memorial Supreme Ridden Hack of show.

Adelaide Royal Show

  • Newington Etchings had a great Adelaide Royal.

  • 3rd Novice galloway ridden.

  • Champion led galloway mare.

  • Champion led Australian saddle pony mare/filly

ridden by Lani Seddon in child's galloway and worked beautifully.

  • David lead Uhavta Stud's Uhavta Giovarni and Uhavta Hourglass for the following results.

    • 1st led ASPS colt under 3yo

    • 2nd led riding pony 2 + 3 yo old colt

  • Uhavta Hourglass

    • 1st led ASPA filly ne 3yo

    • 1st led RPSB 2yo filly.

  • Congratulations to Leanda Hello There and rider Sarah McMahon. Winner of the top six.

August 2009

  • We welcome to our stables Winfield Signature who has been leased by Chlesea Clarke, we look forward to watching them bond and grow together as a lovely combination in the small pony ring.

 
 
  •  We offer for sale: Large hack
  • 17hh Dark Brown 5year old Gelding. Ready for all Newcomers events.
  • Walter has a huge show ring presence and would excel as a top class show or dressage horse. He is extremely soft and comfortable to ride making him the perfect riding/turnout mount for the serious competitor.
  • This horse’s breath taking movement and his sensible trainable nature makes him an up and coming superstar either in the show ring or in the dressage arena. He has 3 even paces, striking markings and a happy attitude to work. Currently being prepared for this season.
  • For sale to a serious competitor.
  • Went to first show 9th August 2009 for champion ridden hack at the Rochester Pony club E.V. affiliated show. He behaved extremely well and couldn't be faulted.

     

July 2009

  • We have just been to visit Julie and Dreamtime Park and as usual we have had a wonderful time. We found some lovely photo's of Dreamtime Oprah and other horses that we have broken in for Julie over the years, please visit our training page, past horses and of course our Dreamtime park page.

June 2009

  • Beckworth Magic Effects has been sold to the Tanieka Monti. Purchased through Kinloch show stables, We wish them all the best with this horse.

  • Also a BIG thank you to Grady McNicol for her work with Lucas over the last few months.

  • One last thank you to The Seddon family for allowing Tanieka to purchase such a lovely horse.

Sydney Royal Easter Show

  • Uhavta Country Charm; champion  and supreme led Arabian derivative, champion ridden Arabian derivative.

Thank you to all the people who have sent their congratulations. It is truly appreciated. . Uhavta Hourglass is Dylan's daughter and she is all mine and I look forward to getting her ready for a saddle career in the future. I would also like to thank Michael Christie for all the work that he did with Dylan in the beginning,  it made it easy for me to take over the reins.

We would also like to thank Floral for doing a mercy dash when we left Dylan's bridle back in Bendigo. Floral drove all the way to Werribee and got there before his class. The class was at 0930 and we had got up at 3.30 and were on the road at 4am. So it was an  early rise for Floral as well. On the way home we found Floral asleep in his car under a tree. We rounded him up and made sure he got home safely. Thanks Floral you are a life savor.

Barastoc Horse of the year show 2009.

  • Uhavta Country Charm: 1st led Arabian derivative stallion, champion led senior Arabian Derivative, Grand champion led Arabian Derivative, Led Barastoc Arabian Horse of the Year, 1st ridden Arabian derivative stallion, champion ridden Arabian derivative, Ridden Barastoc Arabian Horse of the Year. Finalist Led Barastoc international of the year:

Canberra Royal Show 2009.

  • Uhavta Country Charm: 2nd led A.N.S.A. and Reserve champion A.N.S.A. led stallion.2nd led Arabian derivative stallion didn't challenge in the championship as had to get colt ready for a class. Then we withdrew from ridden as headed home so we could get home at 8pm instead of 3 in the morning. (we missed all the kangaroo's on the road). Next year we will need to book early for a motel so we have a room on the Sunday night. We were only lucky to get a bed on the Saturday due to a cancellation:

January 2009

  • We had very sad news this week as we had Beckham seriously injury himself and had to be put down. May he RIP.

  • On a brighter note we look forward to the up and coming shows with our team at Kinloch.

I have been in NSW this weekend (long weekend) to ride Dreamtime Valentino at his first saddle outing for Callie James at the Warmblood Gala day.  He won:

  • 1st Led Warmblood Stallion 4 Yrs; Reserve Champion Led Open Warmblood

  • 1st Ridden 4 Year old Male; Reserve Champion Ridden Warmblood

Kinloch stables welcomes 2 new additions from Leanda Riding Ponies, Leanda Hello Darling & Leanda Fancy Pants, both sired by the super sire Kirreway for all occasions, both ponies are to be shown throughout the 2008 season.

Beckworth Royal Appointment- Sired by Royal Command Of Beckworth has been broken to saddle, and will be making his debut in 2008.This pony will be available for sale after Barastoc.
